Hunterdon County has held a special place in my heart since my youth. Its unique characteristics and charm were so compelling that I shared those qualities with my wife and together we moved to Flemington over 40 years ago. We raised our three children in the bucolic surroundings of Franklin Township. They all received an excellent education in the local schools and have blossomed into thriving adults. I want to ensure all our families in Hunterdon County have the same opportunity.
For the 40 plus years I have lived in Hunterdon I have been involved in community. I have had the pleasure to serve on the Franklin Township Committee. The pleasure to participate in or chair many community boards. Time coaching youth sports has been time well spent. And on occasion, I had been known to walk into a burning building or two.
As a Democratic candidate for Hunterdon County Commissioner with a background as a former Republican, I offer a unique perspective on politics. In the wake of the 2016 election, I noticed a concerning shift away from practical and popular ideas that resonated with the center. I strongly believe that our government should prioritize practical management and community goals, focusing on real solutions that benefit our families and neighborhoods.
